Indiana School Choice Scholarships (vouchers) are available to families who qualify based on household size and income. Anyone living in a household who filed a tax return for the prior year must provide a copy of their tax return. The First semester application period begins in March and closes on September 1st. The application period for 2nd semester runs from November 1 through January 15.
Families apply confidentially via FACTS in accordance with Diocesan Policy. St. Vincent submits the application to the Scholarship Granting Organization after the FACTS application is completed in full.
Awards from the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) of Northeast Indiana, run through the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend, are available to families who meet the household size and income requirements of the Indiana School Choice program. An SGO award can supplement a School choice award for families in most need of tuition support. All SGO applications will be considered by the Tuition Assistance Committee after they are fully completed in FACTS.

We strongly recommend that ALL registered parishioners apply for a Parish Scholarship. Scholarship awards are based on need as evaluated by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Scholarships can be awarded as stand-alone support, or to augment a School Choice or SGO Scholarship.
