Parents can login into the Canvas Wanvasebsite using the button link below or download an App called Canvas Parent App. Parents will create an account and use a paring code to link their child's Canvas information.
Creating a Parent-Observer account is optional. It’s one tool for you to view when assignments are due, see any grade comments and read any course announcements. Your account is tied to an email and you will receive notifications on course changes. Once logged in, your notification settings should be updated to adjust the frequency you wish to receive these notifications. If do not wish to receive Canvas emails all day long, you may opt for a daily summary on your notification settings.
Steps to Follow for Setup
St. Vincent de Paul School uses SchoolMessenger as our school notification system to communicate with you via a phone call, email, and/or text message to relay current or upcoming (emergency or non-emergency) information that is relative to our school, such as 2-hour delays , cancellations, and school-related activities. If you do not want to receive a phone call for notifications such as delays, early dismissals or closings, please let us know.
SchoolMessenger allows us to deliver important information to you via SMS text messaging. In order to participate in this service, you must indicate your willingness to receive text messages to your phone.

St. Vincent de Paul School uses PowerSchool as our Student Information System (SIS). PowerSchool has an online portal that gives parents and students access to real-time information such as a student’s grades, assignments and attendance, etc. PowerSchool’s single sign-on feature allows parents to view each child’s grades/school information with the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend with a single login.

St. Vincent de Paul School uses the online service MySchoolAccount for a parent to monitor a child’s lunchtime purchases, make deposits directly into a child’s meal account and have an email reminder sent when an account balance gets low. Debit account deposits can be made through ACH payments via MySchoolAccount. We do not accept credit card payments at this time.
