At Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic School Cafeteria, our mission is to nourish and foster the well-being of our students and staff by providing wholesome and delicious meals in accordance with our Catholic values. Rooted in our faith and guided by the principles of compassion, stewardship, and community, we embrace the rich tradition of our Christian Faith.
Our commitment extends beyond the provision of nourishment; it encompasses the promotion of a healthy and inclusive environment where every individual is respected and valued. We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where students, faculty, and staff can gather to share meals, forge connections, and cultivate a sense of belonging.
Recognizing the importance of a balanced diet for physical and spiritual growth, we prioritize the use of fresh and nutritious ingredients in our diverse menu offerings. Our dedicated team of culinary professionals takes pride in preparing meals that are not only appetizing but also align with the dietary requirements of our Catholic community.
In embracing the tradition of meatless Fridays, we honor the abstinence from meat as an expression of solidarity, sacrifice, and reverence. By offering delectable alternatives that cater to various dietary preferences and requirements, we ensure that every member of our community can participate in this sacred practice.
As an integral part of the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic school experience, our cafeteria is committed to fostering a culture of gratitude, where we appreciate the blessings of sustenance and the communal spirit that accompanies the shared dining experience. Through our commitment to service, we strive to instill lifelong values of compassion, empathy, and mindfulness towards the needs of others.
Together, we celebrate our Catholic heritage, promote healthy choices, and create a vibrant and inclusive space where our community can come together to nourish both body and soul. In living out our mission, we aim to inspire and empower individuals to make a positive impact on the world around them, embodying the values of our Catholic faith.
The USDA and the Department of Education’s National School Lunch and Breakfast program offering free meals to ALL students, nationwide, has not been continued and will not be available for the 2022-2023 school year.
Although USDA’s recent announcement no longer supports free meals for all students, we continue to encourage families needing assistance to apply for textbooks and future meal assistance benefits.
If (and only if) your family could typically qualify for free or reduced lunch (check your eligibility here), it is important that you complete this application, as it could impact the assessment of curricular material fees or other billing items throughout the year. Find the Application Here and Instructions to Parents Here.
Please complete one application per household. Some families are pre-qualified to receive free or reduced-price meal benefits and would have already received a letter in the mail this summer from the Nutrition Services department. If your family has already received a letter indicating you are pre-qualified for free or reduced-price meal benefits, please do not complete a meal application.
